WHY BE A MONTANA MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES PARTNER…

Ÿ         New churches are statistically more effective at reaching unchurched people groups than established churches (40%-60% more effective, Malphurs, 2004)

Ÿ         This is an opportunity to minister with Native Americans and other residents of the most unchurched region in America.

Ÿ         In Montana, 53% of residents claim no religious affiliation.

Ÿ         To support a CBF pioneer missionary in spreading the Gospel in one of the least-churched regions of our nation

WHAT WE ARE ASKING FROM OUR PARTNERS…

We hope to create a partnership covenant that will include (but not be limited to):

Ÿ         Prayer support, interactive, ongoing dialogue and involvement via the Internet

Ÿ        A three year financial commitment to be used for start-up funds (Successful church plants become self-supporting during the twenty to thirty month time period, Malphurs, 2004)
(Example: 3 year commitment at $1000 a year; 2008 commitment $500 July-December, 2009 commitment $1000 January-December, 2010 commitment $1000 January-December, 2011 commitment $500 January-June)

Ÿ      Start-up funds include advertisement, development of a leadership team, communications, church planter housing allowance and medical
